The golf complex in Hluboká nad Vltavou has a unique history, this location is an exceptionally well-preserved example of the gradual economic and aesthetic cultivation of the landscape, carried out in the vicinity of the aristocratic residence over several centuries. An integral part of the landscaping was the establishment of a landscape park in connection with the reconstruction of the castle, carried out under Jan Adolf and Eleonora of Schwarzenberg in the style of Tudor neo-Gothic (1839-1871). The landscape park on Podskalská and Poříčská meadows is characterized by a unique spatial composition, consisting of a simple terrain relief of large meadows with thoughtfully distributed stands, groups and solitaires of woody plants with a strong representation of long-lived oaks. This is an exceptional example of understanding and applying the principles of important English landscape painters of the 18th century.
Our mini-brewery is located in the middle of the Javořická Highlands below the Javořice peak (837 m above sea level) in the village of Horní Dubenky. The establishment of the mini-brewery was preceded by approximately two years of experiments with brewing beer at home. Responses from friends and acquaintances to samples of beers brewed at home led us to think about the possibility of starting our own family mini-brewery. At the turn of 2006, we took care of everything we needed and from April 2007, the mini-brewery started operating officially.
